I have been advised that the test results were less than 2 which means:
The “<2” means less than 2 colonies of E. coli per 100 ml of water. The state standard is 88 colonies of E. coli per 100 ml of water. If it is above 88 colonies of E. coli per 100 ml of water, that is when we start issuing advisories.
The advisory has been lifted and the Code Officer has been asked to remove the sign.
Enjoy your weekend! Dusty Davies, President, MLPA
